Ian Sandison has 20 years senior commercial management and leadership experience, initially within the medical technology marketplace, his current activities include strategic consulting start up business mentoring and executive recruitment.


He is Commercial Director at Health Tech Innovation Labs, a Consultant with the Swiss Advisory firm Sirius Healthcare Partners, Commercial Director at Remtec, the leading European lifescience and medical technology executive search firm, a Director of Cambridge CBBID the Business Improvement District responsible for strategic management and delivery of projects in Cambridge, a Member of the Local Enterprise Partnership Science Industry and Innovation Council and an Industry Representative on the Eastern Academic Health Science Network.


He contributes to the Cambridge University, Judge Business School MBA and Ignite entrepreneurship programmes as well as teaching strategic marketing at Lord Ashcroft International Business School.
