Fundraising for European Biotech Company
I first met the founder of this business at the Cambridge University Judge Business School Ignite Entrepeneurship programme. He attended one of my business clinics and was typical of people I mentor and help. Scientifically brilliant just in need of some help on commerce and business. Over the next few months we kept in touch and started working together about a year later when they retained myself and an associate to lead their fundraising activity in the UK and in specific countries in Europe. We got them investor ready, so we edited their business plan, wrote a short version and investor synopsis, we created a presentation that explained the science in a simple manner, we got them to rehearse and practice and then managed a campaign of introducing the business to investors and potential partners. This resulted in a number of face to face meetings with large and small funds as well as supporting their activity at three conferences, Genesis in London, Bioeurope in Germany and Biotrinity in Newbury, the largest investor conference in Europe. I have a comprehensive list of over 100 investors across Europe and I am upto date as to what they are looking to invest in.
